  • Cultivation and Stewardship – Cultivation is the process of bringing donor prospects closer to your organization.  Stewardship is the process of helping them feel so good about their donations that they’re inclined to give again.  We will help you develop a plan for long term execution and relationship building.
  • Major Gift Solicitation – “People give to people,” but they have to be the right people; ACE targets the right solicitors, trains them, and helps them get the meeting.  We can be with you at the “ask,” helping to guide the conversation and overcome objections.

During her nearly thirty-year development career, Michele Fuld Segelnick has led or been part of capital campaigns that have raised well over $250 million for nonprofit organizations. Michele has personally secured numerous seven- and eight-figure individual major gifts.
As co-founder of Action Consulting Enterprise, Michele brings to the firm’s clients, extensive experience as a successful fundraiser and nonprofit executive. As a former Executive Director, Michele has managed national staff, ran the day to day operations, and was an integral part of campaigns to raise funds. Michele also has expertise in taking an organization from a deficit to a surplus budget. Additionally, Michele has extensive communications expertise, particularly in branding and developing campaign collateral. She has successfully integrated websites, social media, and traditional media into fundraising initiatives that have significantly increased overall funding for organizations.
With the proven approach of establishing focused, measurable goals and priorities to meet objectives, Michele has built a career delivering personalized fundraising solutions to organizations in need of strategic direction.
Michele lives in West Hempstead, NY with her husband of twenty-five years, Marc. They are proud parents of 3 children and active members of their community.

Lea Katz Bernstein brings more than 25 years of nonprofit marketing and development experience to Action Consulting Enterprise’s clients. As the firm’s co-founder, she has successfully created and implemented non-profit business and strategic plans for schools, camps, universities, hospitals, and other nonprofit organizations.
Her marketing strategies and comprehensive fundraising materials have transformed clients’ major giving programs. Prior to forming ACE, Lea helped lead a $150 million capital campaign through strategic stewardship and cultivation efforts. Her successful management included developing campaign strategy, organizing prospect lists, developing cultivation strategy, creating an implementation timeline, and coordinating donor recognition efforts.
Lea also supports the firm’s grant writing projects and technology efforts. Lea’s proven business acumen and history of inspiring team members to achieve lofty goals makes her an asset to our clients. Lea lives in Woodmere, NY with her husband, Michael. They are proud of their 4 children and 7 grandchildren.
